Networking Indian Diaspora Businesses in Technology Exchange, Trading and Tourism

GICC is a non-geographical chapter of Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) International to provide a networking platform for Indian Diaspora businessmen and professional practitioners; to encourage and promote increasing levels of business investments by and among NRI/PIOs in various parts of the world; to bring businesses in India closer to Diaspora businesses and to network and facilitate cooperation and joint ventures; to develop and conduct business and investment seminars, forums, symposia, trade exhibitions and conferences at regional and global levels to facilitate networking among investors and potential investment countries in Technology Exchange, Trading and Tourism.

GICC will recognize those among NRIs/PIOs in the business community who have made notable achievements in these areas and/or for their community service. It was inaugurated in Mumbai on January 10th, 2017 by the Governor of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu Shri Vidyasagar Rao. The USA launch of GICC was held later in April 2017. GICC Chapters are launched all major cities worldwide.

GICC Executive Committee consists of Chairman, two Co-Chairs, Regional Presidents and five Directors-at-Large. Directors-at-Large take up responsibility such as Membership, Programs, Administrative Matters, Publicity and Public Relations and Liaison with other Chambers and Govt. agencies. GICC Chair is also a member of GOPIO Executive Council. GOPIO Chairman and President serve as ex-officio voting members of GICC Executive Committee. Sponsor/Life Members and annual members are based on a fee schedule set up by the Executive Committee.

GICC organizes programs in different cities around the world through its chapters. GICC programs and activities are planned and managed by its Executive committee.
